Nicoleta Spînu served as the Vice-Chair of the Communication Working Group of the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) for a mandate. She was a PhD fellow of the EU's Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action Innovative Training Network (MSCA ITN for short), the in3 project “An integrated interdisciplinary approach to animal-free nanomaterial and chemical safety assessment” (2017-2021) where she also served as a student representative for one mandate. In 2021, she graduated successfully with a PhD in computational toxicology under the supervision of Mark TD Cronin from Liverpool John Moores University. She has substantial experience in science communication, mostly developed within and put at service of the MCAA. She was a member of the Editorial Board of both the MCAA Newsletter (ISSN 2663-9483) and the IRRADIUM Magazine (ISSN 2707-7071 for the print edition and ISSN 2707-708X for the online edition). She was the Associate Editor of the MCAA Blog and co-organised the webinar series “MCAA Around The World”.
